The All Blacks have a better winning percentage using Ka Mate. The reason for this is that Kapa is generally performed when playing against stronger teams - ironically all 3 of the draws that the All Blacks have had since Kapa was introduced have followed it's performance. But you are right, they used it in the 2015 semi final demolition of France, and in the 2013 test against the Boks in Johannesburg (the best test match I've ever seen), but the Boks were in that game all the way to the bitter end.

Kupa Cronk sure, the QB is always going to get the praise. Just like Mo’unga made BB look average for game management when he had the AB forward pack plowing the path for him. I’m saying, look at the Retallicks, Sam Whitelock, Sam Canes, they set the foundation. It’s a team sport and we often focus on the finisher, not the guy who time and time again straightened the attack to make that space or made the high IQ play. Conrad Smith is a perfect example and I feel Goodhue will be the same. Food for thought, sometimes world player of the year is not the best player.

I’m not sure we even have that any more. Union is dead in Aus and the leadership have done nothing to fix the problem. The problems go all the way to the grass roots. The ARU are pretty much broke and theres nothing much coming through the juniors due to poor development. League sucks up the majority of talent in this country and I can only see that becoming more widespread. If the mess continues we won’t even make the quarters for next years RWC and will fall out of the top powers for the forseeable future. Sad
