80% of the players just did not perform well in enough games this season. They can blame the managerial changes but most of them at most points in the season did not care. Be glad to see the back of them. There's like 6 players in the whole squad I don't blame.

When five out of the bottom six all win on the final day make sure you don’t start in the bottom three which was always our problem. Over the season we haven’t been good enough and to think we couldn’t muster one more win over the season.

Players did their bit yesterday but it was not to be. Awful season when nothing went right for us. Don't conflate this disappointment with the ambition and determination of our owners. We will bounce back from this and quickly. Major rebuilding required and that will start pretty quickly I have no doubt.

@@sleepwalker6825 I think there are many factors involved in our relegation and to be honest they have been discussed to death. Individual players have on occasion been lacking but the recruitment was lopsided and the constant churn of management change has taken its toll. Losing Tony Mowbray to illness was the nail in the coffin. If you want to put it all on the players that is your prerogative but for me it is more complicated than that. In any event it is done now and most of those players we will not see again in a Blues shirt for a variety of reasons. KRO.

Blaming the players is very short sighted, the fact is that nearly every game they have worked hard and it's been small errors and fine margins that have cost us points over and over again. Ultimately I blame Rooney. He kept publically telling the players they weren't good enough and they ended up believing it.

Played well against Norwich but ultimately the players couldn’t be arsed too many times this season. The players massively let us down and the owners made far too many errors. A terrible season thank god it is over.

It’s been coming for ten years tbh. Too many players on big contracts that offer nothing to the team like Etheridge hogan gardner juke etc that need to be released and replaced. It’s sh1t but it’s what we needed and fully deserved.
