Hal Robson-Kanu’s brace after Callum Robinson’s fortunate opener helped table toppers West Brom to the three points at Ashton Gate.
City could count themselves somewhat unlucky in the first half, with West Brom enjoying the rub of the green for their first two goals.
Robinson - a former Robins loanee - grabbed the first after the ball rebounded off his face, while Robson-Kanu was quick to react after Dan Bentley spilled a shot.
Tempers flared when Romaine Sawyers was dismissed for an off-the-ball incident though the visitors were quick to strike a third goal as Robson-Kanu capitalised on a defensive error.
The 3-0 result leaves City seventh in the Sky Bet Championship, three points adrift of Fulham.

Ashley Williams, the most experienced player in English football, headed to Hal Robson-Kanu for the wrong reason and Bentley had two unfortunate errors to his name as well. Hopefully this won't affect the player's confidence when February ends with a positive note.

gotta agree with that,luck not with City this time..from an Albion supporter..Ps City my second favourite team,would have preferred a draw which to be honest, I thought that's exactly how it would have played out..

@@CB-xr1eg Indeed, this is as good as I can ever remember Bristol City being. I'd love to see them go up, Bristol deserves PL football, but even if they don't the fans should be grateful for the fact they have a good team capable of challenging for the Championship play offs, rather than playing regular derbies with the other half.
