Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin II was a professional boxing rematch between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin which took place at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on September 15, 2018. Alvarez won by majority decision.

I understand where you are coming from, but as a hard-core boxing observer/analyst for the last 52 years, I can assure you that the music does not make it unique, quite the contrary. That being said, and I am NOT trying to tell you how to do your job, but trust me on this one. The sound of the blows/punches makes it more dramatic and helps the audience understand how hard Golovkin and Canelo fought for the victory... make another video as a test and ask the audience. Love that both fighters wanted to stand toe-to-toe and swing it out. GGG's chin is unreal, don't think I've ever seen anything like it, human shock absorber. Canelo didn't really try much of his typically slick movement, he just wanted to land hits. Not many fighters have GGG back-pedalling at any point and he wasn't intimidated by GGG's power at all. Love how GGG kept his composure at all times. He finished stronger and looked fresher at the end, whilst Canelo was running on empty for the last two rounds. I also scored it 7-5 for Canelo, but without a doubt they need a trilogy fight

I had it 8-4 for Borat bc we all know his jab is like a Clenelo right hand n he was landing it ALL NIGHT LONG👊 Plus GGG landed about the same power punches as Canlea and had Alvarez running on empty 2nd half of fight and was landing CLEAN POWER shots towards end

I agree. He also one the first fight. The second was closer but GGG landed the jab and hooks constantly. He also had Canelo backing a lot more.

GGG will get destoyed now. He will do well for about 5 rounds...after that he is going to be covering his caved in ribs while taking nasty shots upstairs...it'll get stopped by the 8th on a TKO and everybody will post hate about Canelo cherry-picking an old faded white GGG...besides thecash...there is no upside for Alvarez

I cant decide who i like more they are both gods. I Always watch it on 0.25 speed in order to analyse their Combos and stuff. Its like canelo does something godlike wich i want to implement in my fighting and 2 seconds later G comes back with something even grater and that for 12min straight just wow.

Twas an amazing fight but what I'm more impressed by is this was a OLD, Slower, PAST PRIME GGG who actually OUTWORKED & OUTLANDED a YOUNGER, FASTER, PRIME, ON PEDS Clenelo. Wow would have been great to see them fight when they were mandatory challengers back in 2015 but we all know Canelo gave up his belt instead 🤦♂️

ggg: lacked the fluidity, but won in technicality, endurance and jab efficiency canelo: lacked the power punch, but won in movement, defense, and combinations

@@allenmiranda3697 Well, good point... definitively, the second one could have gone either way. On another note, I would not like to see the third one. Golovkin, at 39, is past his prime while Canelo is still in his prime... Canelo would beat him up pretty badly.

Canelo backed up triple G most of the fight. Better power shots and GGG struggling to breathe at times. Very close, but Canelo in second fight. Hats off to both men.

I love Canelo and I'm a fan of him. His movement in the ring is just beautiful to watch. Win or lose I will always be his fan. I just wished that he didn't rob a W from GGG. Boxers sweat and bleed to get W in their record. Some even die in the ring for that W.

1st Fight was GGG (per massive majority of viewers & Sports Orgs.) NOT a DRAW! 2nd fight was closer & could have been a Draw but NOT an undisputed CLEAR WIN for C.A. (Now let's talk REALITY) Not 1 but (2) Positive Roids tests for C.A + (Suspension) + look at C.A.'s raging personality behavior back then, extremely different > CLEAR ROIDS for (8) yrs. YOUNGER C.A.

It looked like Canelo won the first couple rounds, but then GGG took over with his constant jab through the middle rounds. The last couple rounds looked even. 112-115 GGG !!! Thats the most "Rocked" I have ever seen Canelo, but he took it.

Ggg turned it up at the end of the last few rounds but that was too late. He was probably hoping to tire Canelo to knock him out but that was a mistake.

Creo que la diferencia fue que Canelo cambio si forma de pelear de como peleó en la primera & GGG no cambio nada peleó igual que la primera pero muy pareja la pelea, una de mis mejores peleas

I can find 6 rounds to give to Canelo. You could easily give him 1-3 and 6-8. Not sure I would consider any more than that, but that could at least get him a draw. This fight was much closer than the first.

With all that steroid in canelo’s neck. Nothing will knock him out anymore. He just took GGG’s best shots and did not even blink. I dont even think he felt those punches at all

Canelo boxeo mejor, veo muchos comentarios contando los jabs y golpes a los guantes de ggg. Sino me creen vean como quedó ggg al final de la pelea, bien madreado. Canelo tuvo mejor estrategia.

Pero GGG conectó muchos mas golpes...y si, muchos golpes de Canelo terminaron en los guantes de GGG. Valoro el coraje de Canelo por pararse con GGG, pero no lo veo ganar...y en la primera lo veo perder con mas claridad.

@@claudioperez5916 desde mi perspectiva el volumen de golpes fueron más de golovkin pero estadisticamente canelo conecto más y tuvo mayor porcentaje de precisión. Saludos !
