ngl i died laughing when Bostock hit the bar on his panenka attempt and the announcer said "WHAT WAS HE THINKING?!", had to pause the video for a few minutes to collect myself 🤣

I'm So Happy Notts County Finally back to Football League,even if I'm not a big fans but I love this team Because they are the oldest pro Football team in the world,and when they lose their status for the first time in 156 years history,I was sad and angry,but now I was very happy they finally back,congrats once more Notts County😁🙏👍

I’m utterly fascinated and in awe of the depth of passion that goes down through the leagues in UK. This is 5 tier of footy. It’s mental. Who gives a toss about premiere league. 3 out of 4 footy codes in Aus couldn’t pull that crowd on a given match day for their top tier show. Lol. I know this is a promotion play off but it’s national league! I say that with utter respect not dissing.

Isn't "footy" a different thing for you guys in Australia? As far as I know, "footy" is the nickname for Aussie Rules Football and association football is called soccer over there, just like in the US and Canada

@@jpvuelma there are 4 football codes. Rugby, Rugby League, AFL and for those that play it or support it - football, but yes those outside of the game usually refer to it as soccer for the most part. But clubs and the governing body Football Australia refer to it as football. That said our national team is called the Socceroos. So it’s a bit interchangeable. Over time it’s been changing to Football from soccer.

5th division in england it's like 2nd division here in argentina, i mean in level of football, because in stadium even some 1st division don't have really good camps

Although I am not a Notts County fan they have a great team, I was glad to see Scott get that goal. I even liked that Wrexham included that Scott "redemption goal" in their documentary at the end. Classy move to include it. I'm so glad for Scott to have that redemption, nicely done.

Unfucking real man. Its so insane how every single year in promotion playoffs from levels 2-5 theres always like 5 or 6 just mind blowing amazing back and forth games for the ages. Seriously the best thing in sports save for the world cup and olympic hockey when the NHL lets their players go. Congrats to Notts they deserve it for the season they had. Seeing that picture of their recently passed away executive really put it into perspective just how much it meant for everyone in the club and the city. Gutted for chesterfield I cant imagine how heartbreaking that will be. Hopefully next year is theirs without Notts and Wrexham in the league

it is incredible the best paler of the game mist the only one penalty for county.if Bostock didnt put the free kick in the last minutes of the game they stay again in national. But Bostocks speeks in the most right time great player

Notts goalie is seup 13:20 behind the line and steps out when the ball is kicked giving him forward momentum and a better dive. Can the goalie setup even farther behind and rush forward as the ball is kicked?

A week after being there, and watching John Bostocks freekick. The keeper did nothing wrong. That was a damned good low, horrible freekick. The one thing I am looking forward to though. We won't have the same summarises next season. They just apoint blame, not look at good play.

Anyone brighter than me care to explain why 0:30 is given as a penalty? The goalkeeper saves it and makes contact in the follow-through. Surely that isn't a pen.

I agree with you completely definitely not a pen for me the only thing I can think is that the ref didn’t like the keepers follow through but there’s not a lot he can do about it

He didn't "save it", he got a touch on the ball, but barely changed the trajectory, and took out the player, who may have been able to run onto the ball and score.

@@BriceH9 he took out the player, and ball was still in play. So it's a penalty, I agree with the decision. His contact with the ball was minimal, and the player who he took out would have been able to run onto it.

@@paulthemagpie8605 is the referee supposed to make penalty decisions based on how fast he thinks a player can run? The ball was still in play, the keeper took out the player and didn't get a meaningful touch on the ball. So it's a clear penalty.

They are for gps trackers apparently. These bras record the movements on the pitch and the physical data. Like this it's easier to analyse: how fast is the player, where is he moving to, what is his heart rate like etc. Is that manly enough for you? I bet you need a milk crate to stand on to wash your car.

@@honeymcdonald9120I don't much care wot sum1 has on beneath the uni. ... but the tracking hardware is likely a fraction of an inch. Place it in the sleeve, the hem of the shorts, etc. Y the added item, let alone its shape & obv. Comparisons (??!!)

Congratulations 🎊 Notts county. They played my team AFC Leopards in Nairobi in 1983 and we beat them 4/2. Hahaha. What a relief they got promoted to league 2. Success

No chance. Every penalty he’s taken as a professional is a chip, and he’s scored 8/9 of them. He was the best player on the pitch in this final and a big game player for us. He’s said himself, he chips it because noone is expecting it, and seeing as the keeper dived, he wouldn’t have gotten to it if it were low enough.

Good job you’re not in charge then! Made it to extra time because of him and he was the best player on the pitch. Every penalty he’s taken as a pro was a panenka, and that one is the only one he’s missed and the keeper still dived the wrong way.

Here's a couple of ideas during penalty shoot-outs. 1. At the start, the goal keepers get an automatic yellow card (wiped out immediately after the game). That means any delay tactics means an automatic red card. 2. The penalty is taken when the kicker is ready, not the goalkeeper. As soon as the kicker is ready, they signal the referee, who blows the whistle. If the goalkeeper is not ready, tough luck. Kick stands.

Penalty kicks are already difficult enough for a goalkeeper to save. A professional player should be able to cope with gamesmanship. Don’t rob them of that. The referee blows his whistle to allow the kick to be taken when he is ready, it’s not reliant on either or both players being ready.
