An undisputed light heavyweight king will soon be crowned in The Kingdom. WBO/WBC/IBF unified champion Artur Beterbiev will battle WBA ruler Dmitry Bivol on Saturday, June 1 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The victor will become the division’s first undisputed champion since Roy Jones Jr. defeated Reggie Johnson in 1999.
This battle of 175-pound titans will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S. as a special one-fight broadcast.
Beterbiev-Bivol will be promoted by Top Rank, Queensberry Promotions, Matchroom Boxing, World of Boxing Promotions and Sela.

This is the best possible fight rn outside canelo/benavidez. Beterbiev is in my opinion unlikely to win with points so he needs a knockdown or ko. My brain says bivol because he definitely the better overall fighter. Beterbiev has that off switch tho..

People think Beterbiev is arrogant or overconfident. I feel it's more about his inability to express himself well in English. He should be encouraged to speak his native language and then it's translated, one would be able to better understand his thought processes.

But for me it will be one of the best fights because we are sure that they are both really going to hurt each other that's a guarantee. Unlike Shakur vs davis or floyd vs somebody else there is no assurance that both fighter will give us a show.

Bivol has the style to frustrate Beterbiev into mistakes imo. Another factor is that Bivol never seems to get tired

Yes, but Beterbiev has a better cardio than Canelo, he ain't getting tired very easily. Another factor to consider is that Beterbiev hits soo hard he breaks through people's defenses while simultaneously inflicting some serious damage. I'd say this: If Bivol masterplays every round then, Bivol's victorious. If Bivol mistakens on his defence, Beterbiev has the victory.

I see Bivol winning this fight. He moves well and knows how to avoid danger while being close enough make the opponents pay for their mistakes. Zurdo is no Beterviev, but that fight showed how Bivol can be the aggressor against someone who is bigger, stronger and throws lots of punches.

However, Bivol is a MASTER BOXER who is unmistakably the MOST complete fighter; his amateur record is astounding! 268 wins - 15 losses Could be the fight of the century. We'll see.
