My favorite part of the drive against the Raiders is he just took what the defense was giving them. Wasn't trying to do too much, didn't force any throws and marched right down the field. Definitely learned from the game against the Dolphins earlier in the year.

I'll be the first to admit, I absolutely hated the Kenny Pickett pick in the draft (at the time). It's still very early, but so far, I stand corrected. The one thing about this Steelers team...especially the core players and skilled position players...they're so "likable". There's no more "me, me, me" and distractions like (Antonio Brown, Juju, etc). Even the QB is much more likable than #7. This team can be very special in years to come.

Coach T, and Omar have been hitting it hard building up what I honestly think is going to be a dangerous team this season coming up on both sides. Best part is no one is paying attention. They all have the Steelers in last place in the division and maybe 9-8 at best. I'm thinking they will top, or just by a game be in second. I don't think it's wishful thinking when you look at the list of people they were able to get in trades, free, and draft. But we'll see.

Bud is injury prone but only when he plays starter snaps. 3rd down specialist to relieve Highsmith or Watt. Less snaps, less injuries. Even just 3 to 5 sacks would be an upgrade over all our back and worth a contract. He will be like Edmunds last year where no one will want him, so we got him back in Free Agency. So we should get him for cheap when he realized no one will take a risk and the Steelers love low risk, high reward signings. Without Watt we were last in sacks, so if that happens again and Bud keeps our pass rush respectable. Definitely worth it

The end zone fade on first down isn’t my favorite call in the world, but it’s aggressive and an attempt to win the game, so I can grit my teeth and move past it. But that 2nd and 10 run call by Canada there makes my blood boil. First of all, 2nd and long runs are the worst calls in football even in game-neutral settings. When you need a TD to win the game and you’re already in a super condensed area of the field, it’s even worse, and it forces a rookie QB to play superhero on 3rd and 4th downs. That was the Canada special all year; second and long runs that put the offense behind the sticks on 3rd down. I can’t believe we have to watch that guy call plays again next year smh.
