This year’s celecbration of Eid al-Fitr, Qatar Tourism (QT) hosted the Eid Festival along the Doha Corniche last May 3-5, between 4pm and 11pm .
One of the highlight was the very first-ever giant balloon parade with a marching band, festival goers were all amazed - from stage performances and roaming artists to carnival games and food trucks and kiosks followed by fireworks displays that will light up the Doha sky every day at 9pm.
Over the course of the festival, the Doha Corniche was pedestrianized to allow residents and visitors to experience one of the capital city’s most-loved thoroughfares in a new and exciting way.
Qatar Tourism (QT) with its partners at the Ministry of Interior and Ashghal has safely delivered the proceedings throughout the Eid al-Fitr festivities.
Moreover, during the three-day festival, there were live musical performances daily at 7.30 pm featuring renowned local and regional artistes.
