There are at least 90 minutes left to play in this tie... I remember us trailing 2-1 with ELEVEN minutes left of the 2016 Scottish Cup Final - I don't think many Hibs fans cancelled their season tickets after THAT one finished!!!

Effort, possession and not pressing Escaldes cost us, too many passengers last night from Stevenson, Hanlon, Doyle-Hayes, Melkersen and so forth. The fans had every right to be annoyed. Newell & Youan were the only players who actually worked last night, Youan for those last 20 minutes saw enough from the rest of them and thought the effort was non-existent from the team, I'm going to start playing myself to get a result, at least they tried, unlike the rest of them. LJ & Rocky after the game telling fans to calm down, is poor patter. We had about 200-250 fans go to the game spent say £300 each to go and watch quite possibly 1 of the worst performances ever, it's like when we played league cup last season and we're tragic. Every pre-season game so far we have not looked great as effort is not there, we turn up for maybe 10-15 minutes at a push. If you can't be motivated to play in Europe or wear the Hibs jersey, then give to someone else who would. As Mike Bassett famously said, there's thousands of kids out there, who'd die to put the shirt on, that should be the feeling when playing for Hibs.

@@JC-rd5qo Still averaged 17.5k despite a shite season. Oldco Rangers weren't getting that in mid 80s before the money that was never paid back was splashed.

@@JC-rd5qo “you have to pay to watch Scottish football” you forgot the fact that all tv’s aren’t free and most games aren’t free to watch, phones cost money so obviously you have to pay to watch any sort of football unless it’s local and very low level

You can't win games by simply passing the ball back to the opposition goalie. You have to do this thing called "shooting" instead.

That was painful to watch! Embarrassing game from almost all of the players and Marshall is already feeding the blooper reel. Past his best I'm afraid. To be honest, they were on a hiding to nothing, but will need to drastically improve over the next couple of games or Johnson will be feeling the heat before the season has even begun.

I’m sure Hibs will beat them at home and progress to next round. That late goal makes their chances much better. Good for Coefficient if Scottish clubs outwith OF win some games, they should just pretend they are playing Rangers or Sellik as they usually raise their game to a level good enough to see off teams of this standard.

The second goal was a horrible error by Marshall. Have no doubt we'll score a few next week although I'm not surprised they were better than expected here. We maybe didn't show them the respect they deserved at home going 433. I'd have played Harbottle in a 3 and left out Melkerson. We need to come out the traps next week and put them to bed.

Embarrassing effort, that what comes from signing loan players who don't care about the club or badge!! Be better giving more youth players full games over loanees who DGAF!!
