If there is a one person who deserved to win the AFCON it was Sebastian Haller In 2022 he was diagnosed with cancer but he recovered and he returned to play football in 2023 only to bottle the Bundesliga title on the final matchday to Bayern but here we are in 2024 where he scored the winner in the AFCON final to win Cote d'Ivoire AFCON title so congratulations🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🏆

Hello from The Netherlands 🇳🇱! It's so unbelievable great to see that Haller has become the big hero of Ivory Coast! During 2015 - 2017 the young Sebastian played in The Netherlands for our nice club FC Utrecht. Every could see he would a super player. And now he finally got wat he deserves. Congratulations to Sebastian Haller and Ivory Coast for winning the African Cup!!! By the way, we in The Netherlands love your color orange!

I'm Portuguese and I can tell you. José Peseiro is a good manager but he always fails on the decisive games. He managed Sporting Lisbon some years ago, with him we played very well but were very inconsequent, capable to make great games, and in the next game make a shity game. In the same season the man reached the UEFA Europa League final, and was leader of the Championship until the last round...he lost everything on the same week. He is a good manager, but some people are simply not destined to greatness. José Peseiro is one of those cases.

Justice served for 🇨🇮. Revenge, resuscitation and resolve. One of the few matches here where the scoreline matched the on field dominance. Quite different scenes than against ECG when the stadium emptied faster than a bomb scare evacuation. This result also brought peace and tranquility in some of the areas like Sunnyside, Hillbrow , Yeoville, Point rd Much love from 🇿🇦

One of the best tournaments I've seen. Almost every team demonstrated that they were not afraid of their opponent and played above expectations. Congratulations to Côte d'Ivoire who never gave up and believed and implemented their progress towards goal as much as possible until the last second in this tournament. Kudos to Nigeria for high yield and quality. Thank you for making the spectators so emotional and congratulations and best wishes to the Ivory Coast and the Ivorian people.

If you told me after getting slapped 4-0 by Equatorial Guinea and being on the verge of elimination from the group stage while sacking the coach Ivory Coast would become AFCON winners, I would call you mad and sent you to the madhouse for that. No one expected Ivory Coast to conquer Africa but here we are. Congratulations to Ivory Coast for that achievement.
