Great tackle by Ben smith, not many take Manu tuilagi down on their own

So impressed, looking forward to the final test!

I felt so sorry for Tuilagi when Smith took him down, were was the support?? after all that hard work and to lose the ball was awful, but credit the Ben Smith what pace to get back and bring him down!
@SpongeBillyBob19 жыл бұрын
Brown was in support then he ran away from Tuilagi! Like he was five meters away and when he got tackled he was like 20
@christiansimmons6309 жыл бұрын
true, such a strange move! but why wasn't anyone else there? fair enough it was na unexpected move and all credit to Smith for making one of the finest cover tackles I've seen but come on, should have had someone else as well as brown with him!
@SpongeBillyBob19 жыл бұрын
yeah needed more support but if brown had stayed with him he could have off loaded and brown would have scored
@IamMcBobb9 жыл бұрын
SpongeBillyBob1 I think Brown expected the pass to come much earlier and as such needed to be further away to avoid covering tacklers. Tui should have got the pass away earlier, offloads are risky. Trouble is Tui can't pass...not that I mind because he makes up for it in pure smashysmashy.
@christiansimmons6309 жыл бұрын
MrMcBobb i disagree, look at brown's positioning, he tracks along side one of the all blacks (can't make out who it is) with no real pace or urgency, i think he thought manu had it in the bag, he does have a good offloading game (barrettes try v NZ in 2012 springs to mind) brown just needed to be closer and running at more pace and tuilagi would have off loaded as he and smith went to ground, simple run in try, but as I've said all along massive credit to smith for getting back, bringing him down hen securing the turn over!

This is English quality to me. Down big with the All-Blacks firing on all cylinders, I know France would've likely given up and sides like Wales or Ireland might've just not been able to recover, but England even in a so-so performance get back into it. That mental fortitude.

Tuilagi on the wing for crying out loud. What a shocking decision.

Worst decision for England to place Tuilagi on the wing. England's glory days before now

Wtf was Brown doing when Tulliagi made the break. How he's got as many Caps as he has I'll never know
@kabukiman19815 жыл бұрын
I asked myself this too, did he expect Manu to kick it?
@rabbitss115 жыл бұрын
we will never know what Mr Brown was thinking when he went wandering off
@localmo885 жыл бұрын
He was drawing the second defender away on the assumption that Tuilagi would beat a single trailing defender
@rabbitss115 жыл бұрын
follow the ball not the player, he needed to be on the shoulder of Tuilagi
@saigaboybeast22495 жыл бұрын
I dont think he likes it when Tuilagi has the ball! There's highlights of Tuilagi scoring and you can see Brown getting disappointed when he dont get the ball from Tuilagi and while the whole team celebrates he just kinda walk off like he dont care.

All blacks deserved to win, but it would be a lot easier for other teams if the referee would actually look at AB forward passes (2nd try build up there were 3 consecutive). Also Manu clearly hasn't worked on the wing and i don't think Twelvetrees has done enough with his chances. Would love to see Eastmond- Tuilagi centre pairing but Lancaster will go Twelvetrees- Tuilagi or Burrell- Tuilagi.
@PepeAgain102510 жыл бұрын
I'm sure those were okay because you could see the hands going backwards and the players they were passing to were behind them. The offload that when to the crowd possibly could've went forward but I didn't see anything wrong with it tbh and manu should've been in the centre I reckon. At 3:27 Nonu is in front of kaino so the ball would've been going backwards same with the kaino pass to savea

What the fuck is Brown doing during Tuilangi’s breakaway?

its actually pathetic how much NZ avoid playing England, once in 4 years isnt good enough!!
@AliG-yu2bn4 жыл бұрын
Do you know why that is?
@AliG-yu2bn4 жыл бұрын
It's due to the union in England not wanting to pay the All blacks to play where as the Irish , Welsh and French unions all actually pay the N Zeland players for the game.

Yet another yellow card leading to our loss.
@psygnosis66610 жыл бұрын
I agree. Its stupid things like this that do not help at all. I can never understand why the need is to do this. Owen Farrell did this during the 6 nations a late tackle that was a shoulder charge he never got yellow carded but the opponents had a penalty. I think he things he is something but he needs to go a long long way to be in the same league as johnny Wilkinson. Dylan Hartley used to do this give away stupid penalty's it looks like he has got his act together lately. the discipline has improved ten fold since Lancaster has taken over under Martin Johnson the team had no discipline at all.
@georgegreen91210 жыл бұрын
in fairness Owen Farrell held the ball up and only god knows why the referee didn't call a maul, which would have and should have made Farrell legal.
