@@jairosoto3445 Last year in the playoffs, Philadelphia lost about half of their team due to a Covid outbreak. Despite this, the league still forced them to play the Eastern Conference final against NYCFC. It’s crazy because even though they were pretty much playing their B team, Philly still put up one hell of a fight. If they hadn’t been forced to play their B team, it probably would’ve been Philly v. Portland in last year’s MLS Cup.

Per law 14, feinting (including interrupting the approach) is specifically permitted until the run-up is completed (i.e., the kicker is within kicking distance of the ball)

This was one of the worst MLS matches I’ve seen in a long time, both in terms of officiating and especially quality of play. I have never seen a trainer get a red before, more or less get into an altercation. NYCFC always has a way of bringing out the worst in every team they play against 🥰

@@TuncOzturk MLS is barely over a quarter century old, meanwhile all of these clubs/leagues in Europe, South America and elsewhere have been in existence for well over 100 years. American (and Canadian) soccer is still relatively new, and it will take some time for fan culture to develop, although some teams do have their own chants with history behind them. I implore you to look up the history behind Seattle’s “Fight And Win” chant and Portland’s “You Are My Sunshine”. Also, New York Red Bulls fans often sing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” after wins against NYCFC due to them playing their “home” games in a baseball stadium.

Fans sing their own version of the same song in Europe and South America, too. The difference is that they have more history to put on the lyrics. And like the dude up here said, they have a long history of football fan culture.

The Handball ⚽️ 👋🏻 Rule seem to change every day, natural position, un-natural position, or any portion of the arm. Handball Rule should just be: If the ball ⚽️ hits arm 💪🏻 anywhere below the Short Sleeve Jersey. 😤
