@@Charly.reviewsThe infected blood scandal was that in the 80s we imported transfusion products from the US that turned out to have come from US prisons and were infected with HIV and Hepatitis, this was then used on those with hemophilia and other issues, infecting them. This wasn't unique to the UK, but in many countries investigations and prosecutions happened in the 90s, whereas in the UK it was basically covered up until an inquiry was finally set in in I think 2017?

Don’t hold your breath it won’t last long,neither of them give a toss about ordinary people their too busy lining their own pockets,let’s have a peep into their bank accounts first and see if their as honest as they make out to be,let’s look into Rayners account first seeing that she’s accumulated £3,000,000 over a very short period of time allegedly, if it’s good enough for ordinary folks to have their accounts watched then it should definitely be ok for the better off amongst us.

Being fair, he has been in waiting since Partygate. As soon as the Boris Johnson government collapsed and burned, an election should have been called there and then. Cycling through the utter dross that was Liz Truss and now Rishi Sunak, in which one killed the Queen and the other broke the law and lets his wife evade our taxes for his own gain, the Tories need banishing to the depths of history forever.

What is utterly shocking is the way these scandals keep happening in the UK and the way in which instead of facing up to it and reduce their occurence, we delay and the taxpayer ends up paying collosal sums not only for the inquiries but massive compensation. Totally agree with Starmer. Our state seems to be systematically failing and I choose those words carefully.

It’s very noticeable that both leaders mentioned the need for reform. We need to remember that the Tories want the NHS to fail in order to introduce yet more privatisation. Whilst Labour may use this to reduce privatisation and take back control.
@pirate_duck4985
@pirate_duck4985 28 күн бұрын
Obviously Keir had to bring up the failures within the NHS but it's a mine field for him whilst the c*ntservatives are in power. I can already hear "Even the leader of the opposition agrees the NHS isn't fit for purpose" thankfully they're in zombie mode & I don't think they'll do anything but that comment could easily be turned against him & used as an argument for more privatisation! NOT a properly run & funded NHS!
@GrahamRead101
@GrahamRead101 28 күн бұрын
Neither is the answer. We've got to get away from this "privatisation bad, public good". NHS should remain free at the point of deliver, but private sector absolutely is better for some things and a public provision better in others. The NHS needs alot of reform, but a centrally managed state control monolith is'nt the answer. Neither is a private insurance based system.

Back in the late 1990s labour won the general election by a landslide. In 2008 there was the financial crash due to the bankers overborrowing. A few years later the coalition had a plan to reduce the deficit because the country was bankrupt. In geometry, Octagon is a polygon that has 8 sides and 8 angles.October is the eighth month, That means the number of vertices and edges of an octagon is 8, respectively. In simple words, the octagon is an 8-sided polygon, also called 8-gon, in a two-dimensional plane. A regular octagon will have all its sides equal in length.A decimal number is expressed in the scale of tens. December is the tenth month,Numbers are referred to as decimal if they contain a decimal point and represent a whole number or a fraction of a whole number, Starmer on chaos when it's inbred

New Balance also thank you for your service, for the free advertisement on a platform that reaches millions. Yes folks, not all oldies wear Sketchers, those in parliament wear New Balance. Shame the corrupt in that house have no sense of balance or what is right for the country!

Keir Stammer killed it man, he did. Just look at how Rishi looks..."Flawed". These people tends to take part in things that aren't meant for them. I think Rishi needs a break the world is getting heavier by the sec. We need new useful ideas 💡 to be enacted asap, no more waiting for years or so. If you are out of line or ain't careful and get outsmarted then you will have to, what we say in Nigeria 🇳🇬 " PARK WELL OGA SUNAKI!"

So who looks the most statesmanlike and prime ministerial of the two men at the dispatch box? Not the bloke currently living at number 10 Downing Street IMO.

It’s a technique used by the rich and wealthy called stalling. You can take somebody to court in this country and have it stalled for six months to a year because someone’s name is spelt incorrectly on one of the documents or an address is wrong. Instead of having lawyers looking at the facts, they’re just looking to make sure that every eye is dotted and Tea is crossed. On the other side, they’re just searching frantically for a mistake to be able to stall further. That can go on and on and on. It’s worth pointing out that it’s only attacked used by the very rich and wealthy.

Ever heard of the Pentagon Papers, a lack of candor there led to 58,000 US and over 2 million Vietnamese deaths, from the 1950’s to the 70’s. All for something that was known by some in the US establishment to be a hopeless cause from the start. Belgium Sex abuse cover up, makes Savile look mild. Major religious organizations and their treatment of women, children and an instinctive attitude to cover ups that extend for much longer than the decades this scandal has. Just three off the top of my head.
