One week after the Masters, the PGA TOUR heads to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. This is the fifth of eight Signature Events in the season. Scottie Scheffler returns to the field this week, despite being fresh off a victory at the Masters. The world No. 1 has not shot an over-par round all season and has three victories (and one runner-up) so far in 2024. He made his debut at Harbour Town last year and finished T11. Matt Fitzpatrick looks to become the first golfer to go back-to-back at the RBC Heritage since Boo Weekley in 2007-08. Fitzpatrick, a playoff victor last year, has two top-10 finishes this season. He has just one missed cut at Harbour Town over the last six years. Ludvig Åberg will also be in South Carolina this week after his impressive second place finish in his Masters debut. He has four top-10s (including two runner-up results) so far this season and is knocking on the door for a victory. Others to look out for this week are Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama and Viktor Hovland.

You can’t imagine the size of the gallery that followed him around. Saw him at the tour championship. You had to get 2-3 holes ahead and let him play through. 20-30 deep all around the hole. Crazy.

What makes Scottie so good is not that he doesn’t make mistakes, but when he does, they’re so minimal because of how he reacts and bounces back from them.

Scottie is a lot of things - brilliant golfer, nice guy, good family man - however I doubt many people would describe him as charismatic. Dude scores eagles and barely celebrates, and is extremely low-key and consistently respectful and professional in interviews. A far cry from Michael Jordan, Lebron, Tiger Woods, Andre Agassi

It would be really nice if these were in order. Jumping back and forth makes it hard to keep up with what's going on. I know it's just a highlight real but we don't all have (or want) to spend 4 hours watching the round in real time.

Not even... Rory is heavily overrated since he's the closest to the grand slam from the existing players. Other than that, just a guy with an amazing tee to fairway game, and then pretty much it.

@@nasturt2 Scottie already had issues with his form about 1 or two years ago. That's not a good sign if you're trying to win 13 more majors starting at this age.... Chances are he won't be able to keep this form like other greats did. That's why the great were greats from the get go, not later on their careers.

Really interesting about Scottie. He's absolutely undeniable this season. But you notice he's not playing perfect. He had those struggles with putting, he made some mistakes like the layup ball in the water here. It reminds me of Tiger that in the midst of dominating, he'd make a mistake but would play these amazing recovery shots, or just not let bogeys or mistakes fluster him. Scottie has done a really good job of that.

This is getting ridiculous, How is this guy doing this? The money this guy has made just playing golf these last couple years is not right.I understand that he's getting it done when some of these other guys,Rory for one are not finishing but I'm getting really sick of this guy winning, I mean I watched the masters and the RBC and he won't slap hands between tee boxes with any of his perspective fans or even SMIILE for Christ Sakes.And with how old he is,Go by Scott Scheffler, Not by Scottie.Your not 13 anymore or a Dog. Still, there were no really exciting players post Tiger tbh. It's just that everyone is waiting for another Tiger which we won't really get. That's why golf viewership has been going down over the years. Let's actually hope it does not die, since it's becoming more and more expensive hehe.
