Saw him at the game (I'm a sarnies fan), he was very friendly and seemed to be enjoying himself!

I saw him in the west stand, but was doing the big shirt so didn’t get a chance to go and say hello.

He was good for 25 odd mins, then went foggy & quiet..

Glos deserved to beat La Rochelle - arguably very few 'stars' in their team in a pretty hostile environment - shut the crowd up for long periods of time... Sadly another game that, on balance, may have been decided by the ref. Healy/Dallaglio alluded to that in their post match comments too.

The ref should regulate the game, not decide the result. It makes it impossible to say who should have won and lost. Ospreys were very dominant and Saracens were kept in the game by a very poor official. In the closing minutes it just looked like the ospreys had given up.

They struggled for large parts of the game, better teams would have put Sarries away.

Not a chance, when the integrity of the official is that questionable, you stand very little chance of winning.

@@Dagr8soldjer I just think the URC teams are showing other teams that it is the premium tournament. I was rooting for the Ospreys but that lineout try giveaway mistake kind of took the game away from them.

Clear knock on. I swear these referees keep getting worse and worse. I see more consistent refereeing at local club level.

@@arthurdavies2465 well when one team is dominant and yet the referee keeps the other team in the game with horrendous decisions, ultimately swinging momentum the other way to corrupt the result. That defines being robbed. We pay to watch two good teams play against eachother and see who the better team is. Not to watch the ref pick a team to win. It takes the competition out of the equation.

It was, he slowed down the ball when there was a try scoring chance. Clear and obvious no release from the tackle before jackling. Malins slid in early so his momentum carried him near the line and he got pressure on the ball as it hit the line. And with 1 min left and Ospreys 10 points behind, were they ever going to recover, even if the Woolstencroft try was disallowed? Yes the ref wasn’t great but I wouldn’t say he was very poor

@@JamesHall-xb7dw Sorry never a clear try scoring opportunity - 30 metres out and Earls was isolated... He wasn't really the tackler as Earls was already going down - how many times do you see that the other way? Malins left arms hits ground then right then left then finally reaches with the right - no way that was momentum. The point about the last score is if you take them in conjunction with the rest then the result would have/could have been different! There was a disparity between the refs and their decisions across the range of matches.

@@JamesHall-xb7dw Google confirmation bias. I think you're suffering from it. Objectively a try has to be a controlled downward pressure over the line. Not a knock on. There is no arguing that. Williams didn't tackle malins, he got back onside and immediately went for the jackal. Carries kept getting away with offside positions, knock ons, forward passes etc. Not saying the ospreys didn't infringe also, but the referee needs to pick up both sides for infringements. He only penalised sarries in the ospreys half of the field and constantly gave them penalties directly Infront of the ospreys posts. Of the 35 points the sarries only scored 22 of them. And had the referee not swung momentum in their favour, we don't know how many of those 22 points would have actually been scored. Not to mention the points ospreys might have scored if not being stifled. Typical example of the bigger richer team getting favour with the officials. Money makes the world go around. The better team lost. If the shoe was on the other foot I'd be embarrassed to get the result whilst being the poorer team. Better to lose as the better team than win due to a lack of integrity on the part of the ref.
