That’s how it happened on the live broadcast. They were doing multiple replays of a miss and completely missed the goal. The production crews on these AppleTV broadcasts are awful.

@@rockinmel1The director should always remember in football ⚽️ the ball in play is more important than anything else. I started watching football on TV in the early 1960’s and they never forgot that rule. Over the years you see an increase in replays and commentary not connected to the live action.

As a Sounders fan, I can really appreciate how well they are playing this season and in the past hoping to see them win a 3rd MLS Cup! They deserve to go out guns blazing especially given how Lodiero, Ruidiaz and Montero are coming in the twilight of their careers and can see the change in this squad replacing them should they leave next season considering their age, 34, 33 and 36 years of age respectively. I hope they can beat LAFC next round considering how sluggish LAFC have been this year with finals.

Not the editing, unfortunately. That's how it was in the broadcast. They were so busy showing replays of a non-goal that they missed the actual goal. Those of us watching live had to see the goal on replay, just like in this video 🤦‍♂

Someone in production for the live broadcasts should be fired. Way too many missed plays due to not paying attention to the match. I’m sure these are locally hired crews but that’s no excuse.

It was going to be an uphill battle for FC Dallas once they found out that Ferreira and Farfan were not going to play just before gametime due to injury. They fought hard but in the end, wasn't meant to be. Better luck next season, hopefully.

I'm torn on the new playoff schedule. I like the format in general. But, the longer schedule means we now have to deal with the international break in the middle of the playoffs. The single-game elimination at least meant our playoff schedule wasn't interrupted.

I really really want to watch more MLS games but in my opinion this 2 of 3 game system is absurd, why do we push to make everything about the USA sports playoffs system???? The rest of the world dropped the 2 of 3 games system five decades ago. No to mention the significant toll on players. Come on, play two games and add up all goals, scoring in soccer is difficult enough to be discredited by counting a 1-0 win the same as a 6-0 win.

Bad game but I am content. Glad to be out of "ew" Dallas vibes and happy to move on to LAFC! Punch it through Sounders. Make the rest of my year and what is left of it even more amazing by advancing. Please-please-please! Anything "Apple" is quite terrible and that includes editing and futbol broadcasting. Ugh!!! One goal and that is what we get?

Ever wonder why the crowd keeps shrinking in Frisco ???
