The Sky defeated the Indiana Fever, 88-87, at Wintrust Arena on Sunday.
The Sky were led by rookie duo Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, who each recorded career highs in points scored, with Reese recording a team-high 25 points while Cardoso recorded 16. Reese and Cardoso both recorded double-doubles, with Reese recording 16 rebounds one game after recording 18, while Cardoso pulled down 10.
Chennedy Carter was two points shy of her season high, scoring 23 points to round out Chicago’s double-digit scorers. Chicago also received massive contributions from Diamond DeShields off the bench, who scored eight points, two steals, a block and an assist. Lindsay Allen recorded a season-high seven assists.

Sky go get celeste Taylor, she just got waived by Indiana fever. she is a defensive monster and could play role of a perfect 3 and D player for the team. The team needs 3 and D players to space the floor for angel and cardoso, so go get Celeste Taylor now. I don't know if the additional is possible at this point of the season because I'm new to the WNBA but if it could, it would be nice.

3:58 Reese was cooking Smith! But it's not all her fault. On this play clarky was supposed to slide down and trap Reese but she just stood there n watched instead. It's a TEAM sport and you gotta help on defense. But hey, glad she didn't have that awareness so Reese scored 🎉

Christie Sides used to Coach the Sky which is why the Fever threw the game. Notice the emotional hug between Sides and Weatehrspoon because the Sky finally won. The Fever was not supposed to win the first 2 games and it don’t look good for the “rivalry” if CC go up 3-0 on Reese. This was a sympathy win.💯

Fever didn’t throw the game. Just accept that these two teams are basically in similar tiers so it can go either way. For instance, the sky beat the Liberty while the Liberty humiliated the fever.
