What a good surprise. St Louis needs some major improvements for next season, but still, what a good run. An almost Missouri Derby as it should be, and that KC crowd was astonishing. Great two game series.

What makes it more interesting is that the culprit was Taylor Twellman (former NE Revolution striker), who was born and raised in St. Louis. As a Sporting KC fan, I had quite some schadenfreude at that moment. 😂 In all seriousness, Apple TV made the right choice (in my opinion) choosing him and Jake Zivin as their lead team. The pair's work at the Leagues Cup final last August shows that they're clearly invested in and passionate for the sport.

??? what you're saying makes zero sense. Apple TV is available WORLDWIDE.. Meanwhile CBS/FS1 whatever else MLS normally would be on isn't.. Plus it's $100 for the entire season which is much less than you'd be paying for TV @@jhamptonjr

@@AndyWardinho I'm aware, they are split between the two states, and the front office is on the other side of the state line from where they play. However, the only time the public watches them at home is when they play in Kansas. Not to mention the team's original name the Wiz is a nod to the Wizard of Oz, which has the connection to the state of Kansas.

AWESOME series! LOVE the Best-of-3. I knew that Game 2's would have the great atmosphere. And STL got a fair chance of moving on, but proved to not be worthy of the 1-Seed. The 8 teams that move on will be the most deserving... no "fluke" when you win 2 of 3.

@@cuber1official Anyone with eyes can see that Bradley Carnell is the obvious choice. I mean, he only missed out on the Supporters Shield by over a dozen points while being in the easier conference. He also lead his team to an impressive 2 goals in the playoffs. Dont wait until tomorrow. Give him the trophy right now

@@Somuchgamhave you seen all the games? We had a good run yes, broke a bunch of records too. But when you look closely at the season as a whole you see the inconsistency in lineups and strategies and constantly removing things that are working great

Well, they did earn a bye of sorts as they are the only team that gets to face an opponent that was coming off of 3 days rest instead of every other team which received an entire weeks worth of rest.

As previous seasons have shown, you do not want a by. It makes the team rusty and they usually get eliminated. Last season in mls was an odd one out though.

I really really want to watch more MLS games but in my opinion this 2 of 3 game system is absurd, why do we push to make everything about the USA sports playoffs system???? The rest of the world dropped the 2 of 3 games system five decades ago. No to mention the significant toll on players. Come on, play two games and add up all goals, scoring in soccer is difficult enough to be discredited by counting a 1-0 win the same as a 6-0 win.

Announcers were Correct! A Substitution for St Louis was Definitely Necessary! A new Fresh player could have Given St Louis the Spark they needed. It happens all the Time with Substitutes Scoring sometimes Very soon after they get onto the Pitch!!
