Criscito's goal was a banger. Doesn't matter what league. Perfect technique.

On top of that, he shot with his left foot and shot at least 20-25 yards out. Long distance goal, perfect technique, and with plenty of speed. Astonishing goal, and not bad from a 35 year old defender.

need more from insigne this game. had one good strike mid way through the first half but his passes were unprecise and he got out paced a few times down the wing. need him to create his space like we know he can or else we will never beat the trap. also our defense was so bad i mean how do we concede twice to a 5-4-1 makes no sense

That’s a big performance from everyone once again. The three back worked pretty well considering it’s our first time using it from the start. Hard to watch Dejuan get clearly fouled by Laryea as he goes straight through his back on the corner that Criscito scored off but we’ve become numb to things like that not being given. On the other hand, great to see Esmir debut tonight!!! A bit bold from Bruce but Esmir is special, I promise you. Still about 17 and has an incredible dribble with tantalizing skill. Noel with another solid outing as well. Giving himself a strong case while still playing out of position. Lovely to see two guys of Esmir and Noel’s skill coming through at the same time. Refreshing to see Omar with a great 90 minutes. Yes, I said it. Tommy continues to perform in DP level form and Justin Rennicks finds his well deserved goal after another ruthless showing. Capi and Petro do their thing as expected!! Chris Makoun had a bit of a tough call tonight. Having to make his first start and play his first minutes at CB since joining. Did give away the pen which was fair to me despite Akinola going down a bit easy. Wether soft or not, he is pulling on him. Disappointing to not have used Ema much more on the counter as he seemed to be invisible at times. And we all know what he can do in space. Lastly, tough to see Wilf go down so early especially on top of all of our other endless injuries. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious and he can be back and ready for the weekend. Big ask again on Saturday, let’s claim all three!!! GO REVS!!!!!!

Yeah, both fouls were questionable. Though this was a big missed opportunity for us with a second half lead yet again squandered. When the conference is this tight, we need to win those games. I did think the teenagers were bright, and the defenders played better. As an aside, Jayden Nelson played really well for Toronto. Only 19 and reminds me of Gil and Buchanan. I know we’ve got some youngsters of our own but if we could get him, it would compliment Bou, Gil, and Borrero well and give them the occasional rest, or Nelson could act as a supersub off the bench. Anyways, tough game coming up against Montreal. Any update on Bou and Borrero by the way? Could really use them back. Go Revs!

@Howling Fox Sports to be fair, they both have their ups and downs. I have love for the old badge especially because we were the last MLS original with our original badge. Winning the supporters shield in the best regular season in MLS history to date with the badge was really something special. Though I do really like the new badge as well. The name is required to be in the crest so that is why we had to change it, but I do like it. I wasn’t a fan of the rebrand at first but it literally had to happen. It’s not too crazy but it has subtle reminders of the history of New England and just looks clean to me. The longer we have it the more it will grow on me as well!!!!

There wasn’t a foul on Dejuan prior to Mimmo’s goal. Was at the match sitting right in front of the play, Richie worked hard to get around Dejuan to save the ball from being a goal kick. If that’s a foul what about when Richie was pulled down in the box minutes before that occasion

Whether TFC can make the POs in an interesting problem.. they have to leapfrog many teams .. these draws are a killer. They are 3 points behind 3 teams but have played one more game than they have. 2 points behind another. So they could be 6 points behind if any of those who win their next game, and 6 points behind all three, if they all win. Can't count on 5 teams all not playing well. If just one of say, 5 teams ahead of them, plays as well as they do, they're done. It's very difficult ..

Should considering selling Akinola or Jimenez for another Italian. Maybe even from Serie B will suffice. Then you bring a full Italian game to 🇨🇦 As Italian myself, if I was an old Italian player at the end of his career I’d love to come to Toronto, awesome city and lovely people. So normally Italians love it, even the ones who say the contrary are sick of playing in a league where the managers are too pushy, they want a more mellow fading into retirement.

Toronto FC has been a entertaining team to watch in MLS other than LAFC, and part of that is due to the Little Italy Toronto FC have, with Bernardeschi, Insigne, Criscito and Bradley (whose not Italian but played for a few seasons in Italy Serie A and who understands Italian style of play, tactics, and speak perfect Italian) which means the team have plenty of depth, plenty of firepower, and have really great passing and chemistry and communication, mainly due to half of the team knew each other how they played due to playing overseas. Could also be because Bob Bradley is leading the team up the ranks and did the same with LAFC.

That's why they were near the bottom of the table before all their summer signings. But with the Italians, Laryea, and Mark Anthony Kaye (when he recovers from his injury), it does take some pressure off the defense. They will need to look for a high level central defender if they want to be a contender next season.

You aren't kidding. Even for an Italian, it's a bit too extreme. And being one, I'm allowed to write this. I don't know if it's in this video but case in point, 1st Half, he inexplicably said something to Osorio about not being quicker with the pass. Which ended up being cut out. I didn't think it was at all slow. Yesterday he seemed lethargic which was a shame because the whole team tried. This Result could have sealed our fate for this season. Maybe he was upset at seeing his Napoli team manage 5 goals without him this past Sunday.
