Nothing aint wrong with no pitch. I'm West Indian. What is wrong is that we donot have good enough batsmen to play 50 over or test cricket. These formats requires more patience and batting skills. Which sad to say our players lack. We have a bunch of sluggers. Just good enough for T20. Because it is a slugfest. The pitch have nothing to do with these guys incompetence as batsmen. That team struggles to get to even 190-200 runs in a 1 day. What a shame🤔

Pollard, Lewis, Hetmyer, Holder, Gayle, Allen, Fletcher, Pooran, Russel etc all those guys are sluggers. Darren Bravo just cannot bat. West Indies have 1 batsman suited who is patience with good batting technique. That is Hope. That is why he is ranked 7th in the world the ICC 1 days. The next West Indian on that list is 30th just imaging that.

Still got Ireland and New Zealand as home fixtures, but I think touring will be tough, they got Indian tour, Netherlands and Pakistan.

I think the windies will have better winning chances because of their top form. The 4-1 with Australia and the 2-3(almost 3-2) against south Africa shows this. In contrast, the pakistan team is a bit beaten up that was shown from the 1-2 England series. Also the windies are playing in their home ground which makes it a bit easier.I think there is a 60-40 odds for the windies. For ODIs , they need more players like Samuels and hope, who can anchor the innings with temperament. T20s do not demand this. Hitting 15 ball 30 will work in t20s but a more technical approach to batting is what these longer formats ask. These people present are just slap bang players. They have the potential to play longer, but somebody has to talk to them, the t20s recipe do not work here.
