I made that point in a different video about how it just feels unfair to let one person wear shoes while the other isn’t. What if the shoe guy stomps on the other person foot? Break their toes or foot and for what? Just either have both wear shoes or not.

I don`t like those matches were it is permited to throw kicks with someone usin shoes and the other one bare foot. They must be without shoes on those fights with kicks for own security, imagine a kick on the face with shoe on. If they were only boxing there is no problem there. That is my point of view. Well, this isn't a gym, so there's no input on how the fighters perform, but the shoe thing is pretty egregious. Definitely have a rule to either both have shoes on or off. Though I don't think the other guy was going to kick.
