When we don't know the details about his day to day living,we cannot comment on his friends. If he was a regular visitor to some restaurant or eatery maybe if the staff is concerned they might talk about it.

THE AUTOPSY WILL ITSELF IDENTIFY THE MANNER IN WHICH HE DIED ...HOW COME HIS FRIENDS WAITED TILL HIS BIRTHDAY TO MAKE A PHONE CALL ...WHEN THEY KNEW HE WAS STAYING ALONE IN A FLAT ...SECONDLY IF HE WAS A GOOD DRUMMER IN WHICH BAND WAS HE PLAYING ...AND IF HE DIDNT GO IN THE DRUM SESSION THEN WHY NOBODY INQUIRED ABOUT HIM ...THERE IS A FOUL PLAY IN THIS MURDER

I am sure his call records can be tracked and that will establish a time line. He was supposedly 62 years old, so doubtful whether he was still an active drummer and band member. It is important for everyone to have a friend circle and be in touch with at least a few on a regular basis.
