@@gabrielhicks9014 MCID grew on me a lot. It was hard to accept at first because I love Highly Suspect's rock sound, but I think their electronic work is still them and is definitely something I can still appreciate.

A serious answer: I think Johnny said that they wrote it only a little bit before MCID released.

@@peterowsky02 no it's because it's not considered Highly Suspect. The band is Everything is Sex, which is Johnny, Spike, kofos, and I'm not sure who on drums. Johnny said on twitter they will be in the studio Jan 11 to record this, and I'll assume another couple tracks. He said as long as they come out of there liking it they'll release it but if it sucks we'll never hear it, so cross your fingers, because this song is BEYOND badass.

when I saw this live he said "You are no longer listening to highly suspect". That's matt on the drums and someone else on bass... So awesome that this channel caught the full song. I play this version all the time

There used to be a Fire in Bedstuy recording on youtube a couple years ago, it had something like 20k thousand views (maybe more). It was the best version of the song that's ever been on youtube, but was taken down. Before the song started, Johnny asked the audience to bounce when him and rich bounce and that he wants shit to fall of the ceiling (very similar to the other recording of FIBS that's on youtube now but this version was much-much better). Was that your recording by chance? I've been searching for it off and on over the past couple years hoping for a re-upload, but I can't even find which youtube channel used to have it. Do you have any info on it the vid I'm talking about? All your vids rock. I'd like to say I'm as big of a HS fan as you are.

Joel Herring to answer your question, no that wasn’t my video of Fire In Budstuy but I do have a version on my KZfaq from 2015 (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/br1jo8d30bXZk58.html ) it looks like there’s a few different videos on KZfaq but not many. sorry I don’t have any more info! also, thank you! I got to hear it at DC. He called it Everything Is Sex but when he screamed it he went "Everything Is Money!" The riff sounded the same though, so it might just be Everything Is Sex with a different word
