Did not get that interpretation of Lydia from the lyrics or the video tho. It sounded like the guy wasn't good for Lydia and from the video it looked like Lydia was trying to get out of a bad relationship.

Why not? Jane's Addiction made Lolla and Highly Suspect fits just right. Makes me like em even more. Look at who has played Lollapalooza since inception. It's a wide variety of musicians and styles.
