André is one of the nicest persons and still very popular in the Netherlands. He celebrated his 77th birthday in February and still makes the nicest programmes. Love him! ❤

This is our best comedian. Maybe the best in the world. He's celebrating his 60 year anniversary this year and still going strong. And you have to know most of this is improvisation. He goes off script all the time so his co-actors don’t know what’s next. For me/us he’s the GOAT.

Back in the days, a man went to see André van Duin performe and he was seated on the first row on the balcony. At a certain moment he had to laugh so hard, he bent over and smacked his head so hard on the balcony wall in front of him, he passed out and as taken to hospital by ambulance,

Meeting André on the train to Groningen would enjoy 😂 the travel since there are always delays on that route. That's why i take the car. So train to Groningen ? I'm not there 😂.

funny thing untill some years ago the train to Groningen would split in Zwolle the front Part Went to Leeuwarden the other onces got conected to other carts and went to groningen. The condocter usaly warning people that the carts whit numbers x would go to groningen. Then for a time a part of the train would stay in Zwolle and return to I think Den Huage. The cart one over might not go to Groningen at al.

I believe this happened on many long distance lines. Another item to add to our list on why our infrastucture is so great.
