Highs and Lows at Boone! 2021 IMCA Supernationals Day 1

2 жыл бұрынIMCA Supernationals at Boone Speedway are the biggest event we will ever be a part of. We enjoy getting there every year and trying our luck against the best in the country!
We started the week off with a great draw and went from there! The night started off great and turned south quickly in the feature!
Huge thanks to every one who helps us get to the racetrack!

I raced for 13 years. My wife pushed me to try it. She bought first car. My wife and kids were my pitcrew. Good times. After being out of it for 15 years my girls still talk about the racing. My youngest raced hornets for three years.

Very nice to see a family man, wife and the kids, open trailer nice. You had them all covered in the heat race and you still have a car with the panels on it to fight another day. regroup and adjust go get them.

Vern Carmen started this track in 1967 had first race on 4 July. Rained out time trials so cars lined up by points. Wes Smith of Story City was on the pole. Only made half lap when it poured. Winning in a 55 Mercury 427 we ate t-bones that day!

Thank you Gavin!! Would have loved to cross paths but it is indeed a HECTIC week for sure. Next year?? The Homecoming Queen and I LOVE the U.P. - wish we could swing a race up in your area sometime but it probably isn't in the cards!! Keep up the good work on your videos!!

@@michaelthomas9171 For sure next year, we can work some sort of collab. Michigan doesn't really have anything for you to race unless you move to regular mods, or we fake up some front fenders and call you a pro stock. :) If I get my crap together maybe I'll spend some time over in your area before our season starts next year.
