@@janisnaglis5036 The misunderstanding is that mayo isn't the same in the US. What most of us call mayo is Miracle Whip brand. As Levy said it's pretty much mostly for sandwiches. It's not as good for dipping unless you mix it in with something that is, but it's not like European mayo.

@Billy-rz1jg
@Billy-rz1jg 3 жыл бұрын
@@skylimitua I think this makes sense if what you're eating would be normally eaten with a metal fork or spoon. For example ice cream taste testers often use gold plated spoons because gold doesn't create a metallic taste like normal metal cutlery which would change/muddy/influence flavor profiles. So eating with wooden or plastic chopsticks would mean little to no additional flavor from metal to the food you're eating. It could also be a placebo which have been proven to work in many instances.

@@Buffalo_Soldier @Rafiz Because after rook takes d4, white would take rook #1 on d4, with their rook, instead of taking the one on d8 with bishop. After that point, black COULD just move the rook on d8, but the better move is to take on d4 with the knight so that there are no rooks left on the board. That scenario would end up with black having knight and 6 pawns, white would have bishop and 5. Instead, it's black with rook, knight and 6 pawns, white with bishop and 5.

Levy-"I've played 400,000 games of chess", say average games with, classic, 10min, blitz and bullet, is like 15mins that might be generously low, but thats 6million minutes. Meaning that's 11.5 years of straight chess. Levy is 25 years old. Say you spend 8hrs a night sleeping so that 75k hours sleeping in 25 years or thats 8.5 years of sleep, so levy has spend 16.5 of his 25 years awake. So that means levy has spend 70% of his waking life playing chess

I feel like one way to see the differences in skill level is that lower ranked players very often tunnel vision on moving one piece and leave the rest standing on their starting positions.

Would be cool to see this with a round robin system. Like start with the lowest rated players and then the winner of that game faces off against the next-lowest rated player, etc.

Hikaru's statement at 1:09:00... Respect bro! I am one of the current National Dart Champions and every moment I get I try to pay attention and give respect to lower players. Without the lower ranked players which are the majority us higher skilled players would have no fans.

As a 550 score player myself, I enjoy seeing the lower scoring play matches while the pros give live commentary. I enjoyed seeing the mistakes that I normally make but having the pros talk about their choices instead. Sometimes when I watch Hikaru play versus other good players, he makes the game look easier and then I int my score. I enjoyed the commentary... Aside from the "Oh what? That was bad." and "No no, no! That was stupid, what is this?"
