F = 2E/r = constant. = The gravitational force of a black-hole. Thus it would appear that all black-holes have a maximum force (very close to the EH) equal to the Planck force. This would suggest that all objects located at (near) the surface of a BH would "weigh" the same, regardless of the radius (size) of the BH.

@@MegaNocab I don’t think that’s the problem, he just doesn’t explain things in a good way and, as someone who maxes out in around 40 for puzzle rush, he doesn’t adjust how he explains things for higher rated players so I can’t get that much info for how he found the advanced puzzles.

@@petergriffin8767 I dont understand. Are you saying you are a higher rated player and would like some detail on which lines to look deep into, or are you saying Hikarus communicates as though he is talking to a high level player and you have trouble following his train of thought?

@@deltalima6703 I wouldn’t call myself high rated, I’m only around 1750. I just don’t think he explains things in a concise way that people will remember. But I also don’t really feel like he changed the way he explained things for higher rated puzzles; it still seemed like his explanations were targeted at beginners.

GM Mr.Hikaru Nakamura is the reason I play chess during my spare time. These are the takeaways I got from this video: 1. Before making a move, it’s very important to know what pieces are left on the board and where they’re currently positioned. 2. Before making a move, I must get a clear picture of what happens if I move a piece to a certain square. The goal is to make sure my king stays safe and I have a good approach to attacking my opponent’s king in hopes to get a checkmate to get the win. 3. Always be on the lookout for openings to threaten the opponent’s king 4. Never rush a move without a clear picture of what’s going on (not only is this a bad habit, it is the root cause of blunders). 5. Do not focus on just one area on the board. I have to know what’s going on on all sides of the entire board to know how to protect my king and attack my opponent’s king. Learning from Mr.Nakamura really helped me fix bad habits and improve as a chess player. Subscribing now.

In puzzle 47 Nd4 isn't winning because white has an extra tempo to move their king closer with Kd2 and stop black's pawn

Even watching this, I feel like King defense moves are the hardest kind of puzzles the ones where you have 3-4 choices and all but 1 result in a mating net.

Hi Hikaru. Please don't interpret this comment the wrong way. Hope you see it only as constructive criticism. I love your channel and it is extremely entertaining. You always have the best chess videos. However only from an educational perspective, this video to me is proof that your videos are more entertainment, rather than educational. Compared to some other chess youtube tutorials, you have a tendency to not look at things from the "beginners" perspective, instead labelling the moves as "straight forward"' etc. To me, this video was once again extremely entertaining, but not educational. I didn't really learn much from a teaching perspective as you moved through the puzzles using your own logic rather than thinking about what the student would be thinking in that moment. Once again you are amazing, just my two cents on "teaching". Have a great day :)

I disagree, I could see the solution a fraction of a second before Hikaru said it. The pace on these puzzles was crazy fast, but I could follow, unlike when hes just doing them normally and I cant even see the board before he is done.

Yeah, I would have to disagree too. He established some principles to follow in the beginning and you followed them throughout the problems. No one really wants to sit through explanations of such basic problems. It's just a matter of sitting down and doing the work thinking through it yourself. It'd much prefer watching him sit through the hard problems because that's where the struggle is; the solutions there are not obvious.

Just remember the colors: light squares = c4: (Bf1- Bc4); dark squares = g5: (Bc1 - Bg5). You can learn the colors of the squares and therefore map the board in your head by association of important and common moves like the ones I mentioned. I don't play blindfold but by simply remembering the colors I can map out the board and if I forget the relation between the squares I can figure it out without a board. If I wanted to learn blindfold chess I bet I could do it within 30 days of training but that's not an objective of mine (for now). Also, lichess has a square coordinate training feature that might help.

I'd like it if in future Master Classes you can explain how in the mid-game you target weak juicers. For me personally, i understand how to take...take...take, but this usually results in me hanging a queen.

Understanding how to use pinning will really be useful in mids especially it has relation between taking the values by tragting a pinned piece and reading the board so you know that will be pinned after some moves Let you better..

2:31 funny how my mind didn't register the hanging rook on a7. Not that it mattered here but sometimes it could; those long range backwards diagonal moves by the Queen (or Bishop) are difficult on the eyes yet Hikaru just sees the whole damn board regardless.

An exercise you can do to help with your vision: Get a random position from a middlegame, and give yourself one minute to try and remember where all the pieces are. Once the minute is up clear the board and try to replicate the position. Try and visualize the whole board with your eyes closed. Also trying to follow variations of an annotated game in your head can help to. It can be very stressful to try and keep a clear image of a position in your head, but that's when you have to keep trying to hold the position. Playing OTB will help too, as the board itself takes up more of your field of view when compared to a computer monitor.

One exercise that helped stop me from getting forked by knights so much: Grab a board, and grab a king and queen of the same color. Put the king on a central square. The king stays there, it doesn't move for the whole exercise. Now methodically put the queen on every other open square on the board. You can do a spiral, row-by-row, whatever. Every time you put the queen down, use your finger to tap the squares that would knight-fork the king and queen. Actually use your finger, as if you're putting down a knight on those squares (or just use an actual knight, that works too). Do that every day for about a week, it'll take 5 minutes max, and you should start seeing improvement in your games.

Why is it I can solve chess puzzles like these with comparative ease but I'm 1500 on a good day? Ya, probably because I hate studying opening theory so I get myself in trouble that I can't get out of 9 out of 10 times against players who DO study opening theory. I rarely have more than 3 "book moves" to start a game. :-/
