Norway Chess 2023 is a 10-player Round-robin tournament, held from May 30th to June 9th in Stavanger, Norway. The tournament features super GMs such as Magnus Carlsen, Alireza Firouzja, Hikaru Nakamura and Fabiano Caruana.
If a classical game is drawn, an Armageddon game is played. The players will keep their colour from the classical game in the Armageddon game.
Time control is 120 minutes for the entire game with a 10-second increment beginning from move 40

To me, these two are the two GOATS in our time. Sure, there are players with better score vs Carlsen than Nakamura, but Carlsen and Nakamura are always playing entertaining chess! These two alone are the reason chess is MASSIVE today.

Carlsen used to have a large psychological edge on Nakamura. With Nakamura's recent "literally don't care" mindset, they are much more even now.

@@JimmyBoosterCrate They have always been "even" but Nakamura has never been close to dominate Carlsen as far as "dominating" is possible in top 20 world wide players.

These Mr and Mrs Hindsight are just ridiculous. It’s so easy to know what the best move is when you have a bot telling you. Just stop talking so much and enjoy watching the two best chess players
