Many people hike to Brown Mountain Dam from Altadena, but I think few of those know that at Paul Little the Gabrielino Trail forks off and continues toward Chantry Flats as a 29 mile thru hike. Also after dropping down into the valley and following a stream, the Ken Burton Trail takes you back over the mountain by Wellas Peak and back down to the start via the El Prieto trail. The total hike is about 14 miles and gives sweeping views which on a clear day include the ocean.

I only occasionally refer to "All Trails". Also, it is Millard Campground, not Miller Campground. Good video, and I will watch more as time permits, thanks for posting!

It’s not uncomfortable walking in a wet shoes? Planning for the narrows for summer, gona shop for water shoes

As long as the shoe isn't waterproof and you are wearing wool socks....they dry out pretty quick. In the summer we walked through thee Sespe Creek on the sespe River Trail and your feet were dry in about 10-20 mins tops
