This game deserves way more credit for animating the mouths whenever it makes the scene look more ridiculous. The baseball bat, the singing eggs, the tree - just because it'd look terrible on the main characters is no reason to completely avoid doing it.

Came to this channel for the DP stuff, stayed for the Illbleed. Such a gem of a game! I was super bummed when the rumored Xbox port never happened. If it had, we might be playing it backwards compatible today just like DP.

Another great video, Illbleed is also my favourite Dreamcast game. I still wonder what could've been if fate didn't deal CG and Nishigaki such a shitty hand.

Sometimes I'm in the mood to play a relaxing game, like EuroTruck Simulator or The Long Drive, and the perfect companion to that is a Hikiko video on the other monitor. I always think I've seen them all but sometimes I come across an oldie that I missed somehow, and now thanks to this, as I'm writing this comment, I'm getting Illbleed and I hope it runs fine on my Series S because it looks amazing

Me and my brother played this together many many years ago, and I thought it was terrifying. We both even screamed out loud during that doll level. No other game has ever made me actually scream. Ill Bleed is great.

oh shit, oh shit! this game was in the very first issue of a game magazine that i bought as a kid and never ever heard of the game since then. funny thing is that it was a european magazine but they reviewed it anyway (and said it was quite good) because they were going for all king of weird japanese stuff too, so it's quite undeniable that i got my kickstart for appreciation of unique game ideas from there. funny to refresh the experience and to see the game in motion and till the end. thanks!

I played it on launch. Still to this day it is one of my favs. It's was just at right place and time to be in my heart. I love the b stories and the nods to it being a park. Plus the soundtrack is stuck in my head. Why can't we have a fan remake?

Gosh I absolutely LOVE this video, the effort you put into it (and the intro! I want that ticket pff) along with your thoughts were a joy to watch and listen! You pretty much summarized everything about this game that made it one of a kind. It really is a shame that this game didn't get enough love; I can understand the gripes people have with a lot of the mechanics/story but,, Illbleed really is something special. I guess in the end, Nishigaki got his wish? Because hooh boi did you make me love this game even more than I already did

(haha took the words out of my mouth) oh yeah i forgot Lani Minella played in this game she played maya from Persona 2 and bubsy oddly enough

This sounds pretentious, but both games by this guy had settings with American consumerist tourist trap vibes. Blue Stinger had a shopping center blasting Christmas music, where you can buy items, participate in a stamp quest, and everything's trying to kill you. And Illbleed has a Horror Disneyland selling merch that's essential for survival, photo booths, and everything's trying to kill you.

This was the reason to own the dreamcast alone among many other's!!! Wish i had my dreamcast still and a big ahout out to the man himself dogs bowers!! Loved the video man i had to sub after this!!! Oh shit and the can of Hassey i was gone after that!! And shoutout to anyone who beat the game in the timelimit and got ericko in ripped rags!

I recently played illbleed, it's in my top 15 games of all time and if i got to see cork goes to hell blind it would probably be even higher, love this game a lot. i wanna know as much as I can now, do you know where you got the quote of nishigaki talking about sega not liking zodick? cuz I wanna hear more about him working with the publishers lmao

OK so I finally finished watching this and GREAT job man. Everything about Illbleed bleeds style. So the Tree boss was the one I could never get past. I can't remember much other than I always got killed lol. I can't believe how insane the game gets!

I finally got around to watching this. Great video. I need to finish this game some day. I don't think I ever beat the boss of the first level... Or maybe I did, saved, and stopped playing.

I've seen a play through of this twice and i love how campy, ridiculous and downright weird ir gets. but I didnt know they were so bold as to jab at sega after them dropping publishing in the level they make toystory a twisted mess of fuckery.

The other night I watched a walkthrough of michigan report from hell and I thought I had seen the weirdest, jankiest most nonsensical piece of crap game that ever came from Japan. Apparently...I was wrong. Thanks for the video man and Happy Halloween!.
