Back exploring the beauty of the Southwest in Zion National Park - hiking Angels Landing, The Narrows, and Canyon Overlook.
If you have never been to Zion, it's a must for any avid adventurer, explorer, and appreciator of the outdoors. Located in southwest Utah, the landscape is aptly named - truly Heaven on Earth. Go for a hike on some of the more accessible trails, climb any number of the sandstone walls, or pack in for an extended camping trip.
After 2 days at the Grand Canyon, we only had one day to spend in Zion so we tripled up and packed in the best the park has to offer.
If you plan on going for a quick trip, I'd recommend doing Angles Landing before the heat of the day, The Narrows late in the season when the water is low and warm, and the short Canyon Overlook trail for a crowd-free sunset spot. Thanks to the National Park Service (NPS) for keeping such a perfect place clean and well-maintained.
