Recently I went on a trip to Japan and when preparing for it, I struggled to find the right camera backpack that suited all of my needs.
After a long search and consideration of many available backpack options, I found that the best approach for me was to use a hiking backpack that features a side quick-access front compartment and convert it to a camera compartment using a slim camera cube.
This ultimately allowed me to use a hiking backpack as a camera backpack.
Specifically, the hiking backpack that I found which was right for both my camera and overall travel needs was the Osprey Manta 24 backpack.
I share these findings with you, in the hope that it can help or provide ideas with finding the right backpack for your travel and camera needs.
