Hiking Eighteen Foot Falls, we discover some unexpected & rare finds in the woods.
18 Foot Falls is located in Marinette County, the self proclaimed Waterfalls Capital of Wisconsin. With a dangerous overlook and 300 yards of rugged terrain, this waterfall isn’t as easily accessible as some of the ones I’ve hiked. If you go, be sure to wear appropriate footwear and keep an eye on small children.

The damage to the birch trees is from sapsuckers, a type of woodpecker. Looks like a great area, thanks for the tour, you're looking great. Stay well.

Hello Sally! So glad to find some fellow Wisconsin explorers! I am also part Bohemian... We are fairly new as KZfaqrs and will be hitting the road full-time in a couple of years. We are just part time now but love meeting and supporting fellow explorers, especially Wisconsinites. We have been to 18 Foot Falls a few times (before we were KZfaqrs) ;-) We love to have fun with our channel so nice to find others who do as well. Hi glad to be along on the hike with you thank you for having me I hope your having some fun although it does sound hot there it's been in the 100s here in tucson arizona it's been this way for about a year straight now hopefully it will start cooling off soon we have air conditioning in the house witch is good as long as we stay inside we stay cool although I'd like to be out doing things like you are so thank you for doing this video for us so we can see somewhere different then my town so thank you for having me along this is fun

Hi Sally & Marty, Seeing the water was an awesome sight! I like blueberries and I would probably try to eat them all. lol, and may I say... I like your SightseeingSally drinking cup. The extreme trail wasn't as difficult as we thought, and being well-conditioned...you negotiated it easily. It is wonderful seeing your videos of nature ... it is very soothing. Sally in a bikini! Now I can die a contented man. 😊 There are no wooded areas in the vicinity, but there are wild raspberries aplenty, ideally harvested in late August. Only problem is everyone knows about the spot - a disused railroad embankment - so it's first come, first served.
