On this outdoor hiking adventure, I do an amazing hike through the Mariposa Grove in Yosemite National Park California. This grove has many magnificent giant Sequoias with different names to them. These trees were super cool to experience in person! The turn-around point for the hike is at a nice overlook called Wawona Point. I did this in early May during the off-season. During normal season, a free shuttle takes you to the trailhead. There are no shuttles during the off-season, so you have to take the 3.7-mile round-trip Washburn Trail to get to the Mariposa Grove Trail. The Mariposa Grove Trail is 6.7 miles round-trip. I ended up doing a 10.5-mile round-trip day hike, and it was awesome!

I really need to get to Yosemite! This off season trip makes it even more special. I love how you highlight some of the lesser known trailson your YT channel. They are so beautiful in their own right and are generally without the crowds that descend upon the more “popular” trails. Take care always, Eric!

I personally try my best to hike trails that are not crowded or not as well known. I came here a good time a year, honestly. There's nothing wrong with this hike at all, obviously. But the lack of crowds is a plus. Thank you so much, my friend, for checking out another video of mine!

It's always extra tough when you have to hike to the hiking trail. Wow, that's a long trail you chose for the day! It's incredible to be able to see trees that are so large. Nothing like that I've ever seen. It's amazing to see some of these trees still standing simply based on their shape at the base. Great video as always Eric!

Yeah, I can understand why you've never seen Sequoia trees before because there are none in Canada or on the east coast of the United States. But I know eventually one day you will, and you will definitely marvel in the sheer size and beauty of them! This was definitely a long day hike, but it was absolutely wonderful and worth it! Thanks, Josh!

Quite a few rules and regs there but Yosemite is a place I would love to visit if I ever made it to the US. A long hike for you and a nice early start, perfect hiking weather. What a same to see a magnificent tree like that fallen down, especially when you consider how long it must have took to grow. Unbelievable you could walk through and even drive through one of those Sequoias and what a height they were too. Cheers Alan

Yeah, if you were to visit any National Park in the U.S.A., it would definitely be this one! There is so much beauty and so much variety! Seeing these giant trees never gets old, my friend. They are truly bohemists that make you feel small. It was a long hike for me, but obviously, it was totally worth it because of the lack of people that were there! Thank you so much, Alan!

Honestly, it was definitely worth it to come the off-season and hike a little extra to get the tranquility! The Sequoia trees are pretty amazing, and you're right they are pretty straight! Thank you so much, Craig! Always appreciated my friend!

Yes, I'm gonna have to say that hiking this during the off-season is definitely better. You will add more miles to your hike, but as you can see, it is totally worth it for the tranquility! Thank you so much for watching!
