Hello guys and welcome to yet another episode. This episode showcases a grand experience, hiking up Mount Sinai which is at a height of 2285 meters. I drove from Cairo to Saint Catherine which is a distance of around 480 kms and it took me around 7 hours including the 5 checkpoints. Upon arrival in Saint Cathrine and finished the check in formalities we walked with may Bedouin guide Sabah for 15 mins until we reached the place to hop on to the Camel ride. The ride was 1.5 hours starting in pitch darkness reaching at a point at dawn to catch the sunrise which was an amazing sight and then continued walking up 750 rocky steps to reach on top of Mount Sinai or The Moses Mountain where there is a small church and small mosque too. I visited the cave of Prophet Moses too where its believed that he stayed there for 40 days and 40 nights. The view from top of Mount Sinai is amazing. I then walked down and stopped for some traditional breakfast and continued to reach base at Saint Catherine Monastery. Thereafter a 2 hours drive to Taba to stay at the Movenpick Taba Resort.
