It's incredible the way your german sounds, it is flawless from my point of view. How long did it take to tackle the language from scratch to this level of proficiency? however , I am about to move over to Austria soon , mein Deutsch ist quite in swaddles still,( just the concepts of grammar rules, useful phrases and words A1/A2 at best), but I am going to push this priority hard. This is my third foreign language project, as I did the same with English by moving to UK for almost 10 years, where I had simultaneously catched up on some decent Polish as well 😅( too many polish collieges, housemates, friends ). As Slovakian native and fluent Czech speaker, mastering German would count for 5th language in my repertoire. My problem with German though is that I am unable to cope with most of the words, even the simplest sounds, o😊rather like english synonym, than german's original word haha , it is quite a struggle to get rid of an accent after 10 years of English native experience heh.

Hey thanks !!! Ive been living in Austria for 5 years. I would say it took me about 1.5 years of living here to become fluent. You will learn it fast once you get here. That's awesome that you can speak so many languages. The accent will come with time.
