Abbie heads to the German/Bavarian Alps, catching the Kreuzeckbahn from Garmish-Partenkirchen, to Kreuzeck Haus on the Alpspitze. They then walks up to Hupfleitenjoch and Knappenhäuser, before decending via the famous Höllentalklamm Gorge.

Once again, a bloody fantastic video. It indeed did remind me of cross between Rivendel and the Misty Mountains 😏 And I must say the rocks were kickin' in this one... Did you see any fossils? From memory that area of the Alps is lots of limestone and dolomite. Fossils can be hard to spot, if not completely destroyed by the geological processes, but there may still be a few floating around 🤔

Thank you for taking me back to the area around Zugspitze. I was last there in the early 90s and it left an everlasting impression on me. Getting an ice cream from the boat on Eibsee was a highlight lol. On the back of this video I will head out there again as soon as I am able from my hideaway in the Scottish Highlands. If you haven't look up the book 'the living mountain' by nan shepherd.

Nice to see, you visited Germany as well. Your pronunciation of German words mostly is guite good or close :)! I am from the Swabian Alps, much smaller than the "original" Alps. But if you looking for more places in Germany, I would recommend the "Swabian Highlands" beside a lot of other nice mountain areas of Germany. Greetings.

Not sure I could do the steep sketchy trail with so many people! How do you decide who gets to cling to the rope and who has to go on the outside?! Nice pretzel at the end.

I'm wondering, where do you go to pee when you're up in the mountains and there is only open space, no trees or bushes. that's the main reason why I don't dare to drink enough while hiking. If I do than I have to pee every hour :-(

Hi abbie can i apply as your cameraman? Its ok if i dont have salary i just want to hike but I dont know any guide and i might get lost. And i need somebody to hike with as well cause the people that i know dont often invite me and i want to go to an adventure.
