On Veteran's Day 2020 we started from Tapia Park and hiked the Backbone Trail to Saddle Peak where we came upon a group setting up a slack line between two of the boulders. We had a little bit of lunch and watch two of them make an attempt at it before we needed to head back to the car. All Trails has this hike at 10.5 but is closer to 12.8 miles total.
