Located in Punta Gorda, FL in Charlotte County. This is a very nice 2.5 mile hike with a variety of habitats. During my trip the trails were dry but I think they are usually wet. While I was there I found deer, rabbit, red rat snake, or corn snake, along with lots of interesting bugs.
It was a good hike through some wilderness. through cypress trees and palms, with a few open sections.
I spent some time on the fire breaks since I'm used to longer trails and I didn't want to hike less hours than it took me to drive there.
My 360 camera is back in play so you'll see me filming myself like so many other hikers do. Still no music in this one. Just the sounds of nature, and the neighboring highways.
