Күн бұрынThis week we face our biggest challenge yet, Mt. Fansipan, known to be the highest peak in Vietnam. The mountain is 3,143 meters high making it the highest peak in the Indochina peninsula. We decided to hike through the valleys of mountains for 2 days/1 night and it was indeed challenging for us. As we got closer to the top we were surrounded by 360-degree views of beautiful North Vietnam. This was our favorite activity in Sapa, Vietnam and would highly recommend it.

I just did a same-day hike up Fansipan in 6 hours and took the cable car down. I took some pictures but didn't videotape the ascent. This video brought back a lot of good memory.

Cool that you guys hiked it👍 we had a tough time with all the misinformation out there about the hike so we just took a cable car😂 can't say I regret it. The views were stunning! 😍

That's very understandable, we found a tour on TripAdvisor with good reviews but it was still risky as it just reopened after covid 😅

I am glad you had a nice and safe climb of the `Fancy Pain ` . With the tour guides , you were in good hands . I remember about 8 years ago an adventurous young British fellow died on the FP slope because he attempted to conquer the roof of Indochina all by himself , without any local tour guide . BTW are you planning to do the Ha Giang Loop as well

Yes our tour guide told us that story! very sad stuff. We actually didn't have time to do the Hà Giang loop😭 but we doing Hà Long for next week's video

Frankly, they can use solar panels there. At least a bit of lightings with led bulbs.

Hi Shaun & Alina. Congrats to both of you. I am planning to climb Fansipan also this year. What trail did you take and how much is the guide or porter fee? Do you have a detailed information? Thanks.

It was €125 euro per person for the whole trip from pick up to drop off including food and the guides. Unsure what the name of the root was, we started off from the white ranger station building.
