Hiking The Jordan Trail-Dana to Petra

April, 2023. We traveled to Jordan to hike a section of the Jordan trail from Dana Biosphere Reserve to Petra. This 50 mile hike took us through incredible remote mountain landscapes covered in wildflowers and ended in the spectacular ruins of Petra.

We had to brace ourselves for the crowds of Petra after hiking several days through the remote mountains to get there. But what an incredible way to end a trek!!

Glad you're enjoying the video! We got lucky with our timing for the Jordan Trail...everything was alive and the weather was perfect. If you're looking for a less-traveled trek, this is a good one!

Thanks! We knew it would be nice in the spring, but like here in Southern California they had an extended rainy season, so everything was green and alive. Really special to see Jordan like that!
