I am inspired by you guys . It is a shame that when I hike I tend to feel off balance when I am rock scrambling which makes me a bit anxious lol . So I will have to just watch your challenging hikes . Thank you for your amazing video !

Amazing video mate! You inspired me to hit up my friends to join me in doing this. Would you say it’s possible to camp along the hike or is it possible to do it without hiking in the dark?
@CamBostock
@CamBostock 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah mate, most people will camp 1-2 nights. There are a couple campgrounds good for tents along the ridge. Also possible to do it in 1 day without night hiking if you are fit and experienced. 👍

@@CamBostock thanks for the info mate, I will check it out. Two more question, any problems with snakes? And would you recommend anything to take on the hike you didn’t have?
@CamBostock
@CamBostock 2 жыл бұрын
No snakes when we did it mate, doubt you would ever have any reptile issues up there. I would probably use poles next time, just to save the legs a bit on all the ascents. Feel free to DM on Instagram or wherever if you have any other questions mate. Happy to help.

Hey Cam, awesome job and powered through by the looks - I’m gonna have a crack at this in the next months and also wanted to go the same Ellen peak to bluff knoll direction. Curious how you navigated the route - did your use AllTrails or the old illustrated book or some other method? I’m less concerned about the physical effort (cos I’m training for that) but I’ve heard about folks going the wrong way / taking wrong paths etc - so any advice tou can provide on how you picked your route would be much appreciated 🤞oh and this is Adam (must be logged into BFM account)

Hey Adam. Tackling the Ridge again next week. We used AllTrails and it was fairly accurate. Definitely parts of the trail that are not obvious but with some patience and use of the app you’ll find your way no problems.
