So cool, it starts just besides where I live. Been looking for someone to hike with forever, had I known I would've tagged along 😉👍

Thanks for Day 1. Beautiful countryside. Lucky enough to have a month in Sweden nearly 40 years ago. Safe tramping Michelle and Mark. Hope you meet an irregular mix of interesting people.

Just found your channel! I'm living in Sundsvall and have also lived in Matfors, but never walked that route... Maybe I should :P Nice video! :)

I've been thinking about doing this walk but something I am wondering is if there is accommodation and places where you can eat, because otherwise you will have to carry a very heavy load on your back. What is your experience after doing this walk? What time of the year did you walk and how was the temperature? Very nice to follow you on this trip!

Hi Amisa. Yes it is a lovely walk. We also have done the one from Oslo to Trondheim (my favourite). This one you do walk through a lot more towns and small villages. We only carried our lunch and sometimes if we were camping our dinner and snacks. We mixed up camping and accommodation. Our packs were not too heavy at all. We walked in July so summer time and not very cold at all. Weather varied but typical for that time of year. Did find more road walking than other trails but that’s ok. I say go for it and enjoy your adventure 😊

@@walkingtwobytwo7122 yeah I watched your videos also from that walk and I thought too that it looked very nice. Was the accomodation very expensive or okey and is it necessary to book in advance?

@@amisa160 we walked that one in a July as well and found that accommodation was harder to get. We didn’t book too far in advance but found it hard and more expensive being peak season. I would consider doing a bit before or after July next time. More isolated in sections too so carried a few days worth of food.

@@walkingtwobytwo7122 Stay strong and hopefully your feet will feel better after a while =) I will go by Mountainbike so it will be a bit faster and for sure save my feet haha. Do you have an estimated time for arrival?

Richard Forslund I saw a bike on the side of the trail today and thought mmm that would be good 😜 I had done an injury before leaving home while on another multi day hike, I tore my fascia in my right foot in two places 🤣 it hurts but manageable and means walking slow. Riding this trail would be good. It’s actually at this point well suited to a bike. I hope to arrive in Trondheim around the 25/26th.
