That walking reminded me of when me and my brother would walk miles and miles up and down the creek closest to our house. We knew exactly where the deep holes were. Sometimes the walking was worthwhile and sometimes not but regardless we made a lot of great memories. My brother passed away in 1997 and I think about those childhood summers walking and fishing all the time.

How do you like those reels? I’ve got 1 on my catfish and carp Whisker Seeker rod. Got the reel off Amazon. 12lb Flathead is nothing with it. Loving it so far.
