Hiking to the Peak of Mount Timpanogos in Utah

In this video, Christian and the munchkins take a day trip and hike to the top of Mt. Timp. This peak is the second-highest summit of the Wasatch Mountains at 11,749 feet. The hike started from the North along the Timpooneke Trail. Distance was around 7.5 mile each way with an elevation gain of almost 4,500 feet from bottom to top.

It only took 2 years to answer your question at 2 minutes in. The plant/flower you're looking at is Hysop. My favorite part about this video is that 3 of the times you pointed up to the peak and said, "that's the summit, we are headed there" you were actually pointing at the wrong summit. Twice you were pointing at the North Peak and once you were pointing at Robert's Horn. Classic Timp mistake. Love the videos, great job.
