Salama made me cry when said she said she sees her children laughing and happy and she cries alone remembering the childhood she never had. I spent most of my childhood crying b/c I was an orphan child growing up in the home of firaun. I was a gifted child and adults were attracted to my intellect so this relative started abusing me. Now that I'm an adult and have long removed myself from my abuser I cry for children suffering and going through worse than I went through. I pray for innocent souls.

When Salama mentioned how she wanted to meet someone who forgave, all I could think of is this woman should listen more often to Mufti Menk's lecture about forgiveness because he gives the best lecture on it. I see she still hides so much trauma and pain, and hope Allah swt eases it

Yeah i agree that she still looks like she has that trauma and cannot easily forgive. Sometimes when the ugly memories arise, the pain comes back haunting you. Thats why. But she gotta learn to forgive. Life is too short and hereafter is forever. I wonder if she'll let Allah punish her parents in the hereafter because of how they treated her during childhood. Allah nauzubillah. She can do better by learning how to forgive..may Allah make it easy for Salama to forgive and let go. According to a hadith, on the Day of Resurrection, a righteous person who has experienced extreme misery in the life of this world will be dipped in Jannah. Then he will be asked: ‘O son of Adam! Did you ever experience any misery? Did you ever encounter difficulty?’ He will say: “By Allah, no my Lord, I neither experienced misery nor passed through hardship” [Muslim]

Salama, I did not know how to forgive for so many years. My wounds stayed opened. One day I understood that we are not all the same. And that abuse is all they knew. I understood that they were abused too and they were displaying the behaviour they were subjected to, with me. Some souls are more evolved than others. Some are more conscious than others. One day I felt deep compassion for them. I felt sorry because they didn’t know any better. What a miserable sad life.. in that moment of deep felt compassion, I knew I forgave. We are the light bearers, we broke that dark cycle.

I never knew how vulnerable and hurtful Salama was, all we know in social media is the portrayal of a scripted comedy skit with her then husband. Salama you're a strong and an inspiring soul, I can relate your journey in self healing as well with ADHD. In terms of forgiveness, sometimes we're too numb by the trauma that we don't know how to forgive. But it will come the time when we truly forgive and release it so it won't be passed down to our generations..

Our prophet Muhammad pbuh told us I swear about three things: 1. Whoever gives charity, his money will not go down. I swear by it 2. Whoever humbles himself, Allah will raise him. I swear by it. 3. Whoever forgives, Allah will increase his izzah. I swear by it. The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) gave Qasam. Whoever forgives, he’s not the weaker of the two. Whoever forgives is the stronger of the two. The more izzah is the one who forgives. Izzah: Dignity, respect, honor Qasam: swearing in good faith (oath)

This interview was carefully orchestrated. I watched this video because I really was curious why they haven’t posted a video together. They were my favorite couple on YT and Instagram. Their videos were very entertaining. So yeah, a bit disappointed that she did not discuss the “big elephant” in the room. No mention of Khalid Alameri, the father of his beloved children. Though I understood when she said “I can’t change people, but I can change people”. And her response when the podcaster asked what she meant by that. I get it. She controlled the narrative of how this interview went. She only spoke on subjects she agreed to speak on. Either way, I applaud her for her perseverance and strength to find her place in this world, and for realizing her potential and talent - in creating a successful business. And I applaud her for being able to juggle career and her children. Best wishes to Salama!

@M.Adamss
@M.Adamss 3 ай бұрын
@@hajeralanazi8379 “We have not created the heavens and the earth and everything in between except for a purpose. And the Hour is certain to come, so forgive graciously.” (Quran 15:85) In this verse, we are reminded that our time on this earth and in this dunya is limited - we must, therefore, try to understand the importance of forgiveness. If we ourselves hope to be forgiven for our own shortcomings and sins, the least we can do is to forgive and pray for the forgiveness of our fellow brothers and sisters. “And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers.” (Quran 42:40) Here, we can understand that Allah will reward and bless those who are truly able to forgive. While it may sometimes be the hardest thing we do, we must understand the importance in reconciling with those we may have never thought possible of being forgiven - we must do this if not for ourselves, then at least for Allah. “And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of resolve.” (Quran 42:43) The Quran reminds us again that being patient and being able to forgive are two sides of the same coin - if we are to truly live in a united ummah, we must continuously strive towards reconciliation and forgiveness for the betterment of our society. “It is by Allah’s mercy that you are gentle to them; and had you been harsh and hardhearted, surely they would have scattered from around you. So excuse them, and plead for forgiveness for them, and consult them in the affairs, and once you are resolved, put your trust in Allah. Indeed Allah loves those who trust in Him.” (Quran 3:159) In the eyes of Allah, to sincerely pardon and forgive is to trust Allah as well. We must trust that Allah Sees everything, and remember that the only One worthy enough to judge our actions is Allah Himself - we must therefore forgive and trust that Allah will always reward us for what we deserve. “Do not let the people of virtue and affluence among you swear to suspend donations to their relatives, the needy, and the emigrants in the cause of Allah. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love to be forgiven by Allah? And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran 24:22) Just as we love to be forgiven and shown mercy by Allah, we must strive towards showing mercy and forgiveness in our own lives - as Muslims, this is the least we can do in showing how much we love Allah.

For example, if you are going through a difficult time in life and you start to read it, it has the message "DO NOT GRIEVE; INDEED ALLAH IS WITH US. SURAH AT-TAwBAH AYAH 4O Similarly, if you are experiencing something that is injust or that is painful or whatsoever. ..the Holy Quran has such a firm and visceral impact on you that calms your anxiety, depression and gives you a composed sense of living.

I love how this interview wasn´t salacious or opportunist. It didn´t exploit her privacy, nor did it give any fodder to people listening only to catch gossip. It was done with sensitivity and respect, I feel. People´s privacy is NOT for gossip and to still their curiosity. It is about real people, with real lives and consequences. We are all so much more than what is visible on the surface. People have gone, or are going through really difficult things. I hope that people, in their droves, move away from both putting themselves out there on social media, as well as stop taking an interest in influencers´ lives. Life is passing us by, some really scary things happening...yet people are spending their time on gossip, rumours and showing an unhealthy amount of interest in matters that really aren´t important for their aakhira. I´m also happy to see a slow shift in society, where more are waking up to no-filters, no makeup and no fakeness. Celebrity culture is also dwindling really fast, and perhaps more are realising their priorities as inflation has stayed since the pandemic. Truly, even the calamities Allah swt allows to happen, bring some good with them. Alhamdulillah.
