As a Tottenham fan, Arsenal winning the league would be easier pill to swallow if we’ve won league or champions league during our Pochettino days. But we haven’t. Which is exactly why our fanbase is on a knife edge.

For all those out there saying this is dumb this hatred, football fan bases are like this, and its part of football, ie competition. Look at ally, he certainly understands this hatred between teams, playing for rangers, and there rivalry with celtic.

English "pundits" have two problems... British bias and low football knowledge which leads to ridiculous takes like this like seriously, Southgate? If he's that good then why didn't Liverpool go for him i mean Bayern Munich are desperately looking for Managers to the point they even approached the current Crystal Palace Manager who's only like less than 5 months into his new Job, there was zero mention of Southgate in their shortlist ask yourself why.

One should never want your team to lose a game but with football fans being so tribal what does one expect. Ange and the players will want to win at all costs. But imagine Spurs beat City; Arsenal win the PL and Spurs still finish 5th. What do you think Arsenal fans will do. They will absolutely slaughter the Spurs fans and make it a miserable time for them and one would expect that. Tribalism amongst most fans comes first.

You are right about how Liverpool did their job in 1995 and as United fan I was gutted that you guys gave us a big help and we didn't get over the line with poor finishing. Was class of Liverpool and their fans. I think that's today though you have a younger generation of fans who literally live on social media as there are some many club podcasts. And it's only abuse and banter hence you have Spurs fans thinking i can't take this abuse if Arsenal win as will be from Sunday until end of next season.
