Oh! So this is just Green Glass Door, I play this with kids sometimes (work in Youth Services). The title kinda hints at what you can take through the door

I like it but can't think of other examples. Ive thought of bringing only things that start with a certain letter, certain colors, the double letter words... I'm stuck

There are ample social-emotional learning (SEL) elements connected to this activity when integrated as a part of a carefully facilitated program, eg self-awareness and social awareness skills. On the face of it, Come To My Party may look like a fun game (and it is) but when you dive a little deeper, a lot more value can be mined. It's not boring - it's old, but not boring and I've used it for literally years in a NYC high school setting and it's all about the presentation. If it's boring - give us something else rabbit.
