The Luberon Regional Nature Park hosts the highest concentration of hill towns in Provence. It is a region with an exceptional natural heritage, which has earned it the status of UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and Global Geopark.
In this stage of the loop, you ride the northern part of Luberon. It is an easier ride compared to the first stage. But you still get to visit some beautiful hill towns such as Villars, Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, Gordes, and Goult. You will also get to ride through vineyards, fruit plantations, and olive groves. Often you will have beautiful views of the hill towns in front of you. And you will ride some of the same roads as the Tour de France peloton rode in 2021. This ride is ideal for the beginner and the intermediate rider, and everybody who loves rolling hills and beautiful scenery.
In this ride-along video, you ride at the speed of a recreational cyclist. If you want to ride at your own speed, please look below for more information on our indoor cycling app Open Road.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute KZfaq and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, KZfaq, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride...
